We ensure regulated entities are appropriately applying the BCUC’s directives and tariffs. These complaints can range from the service provided by an energy utility to ICBC’s basic automobile insurance rates. Please note, the BCUC’s jurisdiction regarding ICBC complaints is limited to ICBC’s customer base as a whole or to classes of its customers. The BCUC does not have jurisdiction over individual ICBC customer matters, such as individual or optional insurance plans, in accordance with the Insurance Corporation Act.
